Abstract:
A semiconductor storage device (100a) according to this disclosure comprises: a memory cell array (110) including a plurality of memory cells; a read data output unit which outputs data read from the memory cell array to the outside with a bit width of m bits without changing the data; and a defect information acquisition unit (200) which acquires defect information indicating defects when data read from the memory cell array is determined to be defective. The defect information acquisition unit outputs defect information with two or more and n or less bit values representing 1-bit information for outputting a value different for each number of defects to the outside when the number of defects of the data read from the memory cell array is 0 to n bits (n < m).
