Abstract:
Provided is a sense of force-generating apparatus, which has a simple structure and is capable of enabling an operator to clearly sense force only in one direction. The sense of force-generating apparatus is provided with: a disc (6) capable of rotating centered on a rotation axis; a cam groove (7) formed on one flat surface of the disc (6) so as to surround the rotation axis (5); a follower (8), which is disposed on a straight line that is perpendicular to the center of the rotation axis of the disc (6) and which is moved reciprocally on the straight line (G) by the cam groove (7) that rotates with the rotation of the disc (6); and a weight (9) provided on the follower (8). The cam groove (7) is configured to have a cam shape: that has first angle ranges (θ1) in which the follower (8) is moved forward on the straight line (G) and second angle ranges (θ2) in which the follower (8) is moved backward on the straight line (G); and such that the acceleration of the weight (9) differs between the first angle ranges (θ1) and the second angle ranges (θ2).
