Abstract:
The present invention provides: a sensitizer for immunochromatographic assays and for enabling detection of a novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) IgM antibody and/or IgG antibody with high sensitivity; and an assay using the sensitizer. More specifically, provided is an immunochromatographic assay sensitizer that comprises a polymer represented by general formula [4] and that is for assaying, as a target substance, a novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) IgM antibody and/or IgG antibody. (In the formula, m, n, and p represent the numbers of respective structural units, and m : n : p equals 100 to 30 : 0 to 70 : 0 to 50.)
