Abstract:
Provided is a sensor unit driving device with which a sensor unit for sensing a display surface can be moved in and out without causing a bezel to protrude forwardly of the display surface while narrowing the bezel width. The invention provides a sensor unit driving device comprising: a display panel having a display surface for displaying an image; a sensor unit having a sensor; and an actuator for driving the sensor unit. The sensor unit is configured to be located to the side or rear of the display panel when in a retracted position, and configured such that the sensor is opposed to the display surface when in a detection position. When the sensor unit is driven by the actuator, the sensor unit moves to enable the retracted position and the detection position to be switched.
