Abstract:

The single-screw compressor is provided with: a casing constituting an outer shell; a screw having a spiral tooth groove on an outer peripheral surface thereof; a gate rotor having a plurality of gate rotor tooth parts which engage with the tooth groove and forming a compression chamber in conjunction with the casing and the screw; and a gate rotor support having a plurality of gate rotor support tooth parts which are disposed so as to face the plurality of gate rotor tooth parts and supporting the gate rotor. A gate rotor hole is formed in at least one of the gate rotor tooth parts so as to penetrate therethrough in a tooth thickness direction. A support hole is formed in a gate rotor support tooth part so as to penetrate therethrough in the tooth thickness direction, said support hole communicating at one end with the gate rotor hole and communicating at the other end with a low-pressure space disposed inside the casing. A pin press-fitted in the support hole is disposed in the support hole. The pin comes off as the internal pressure of the compression chamber increases, thereby providing communication between the compression chamber and the low-pressure space.
