Abstract:
The present invention is provided with: a sensor unit 30 that is disposed in an exhaust system of an engine 100, includes a filter member 31 having a plurality of cells demarcated by porous partitioning walls and capturing particulate matter in exhaust gas, and includes at least one pair of electrode members 32, 33 opposingly disposed so as to sandwich the cells and forming a capacitor; and a control unit 40 that estimates the amount of particulate matter in the exhaust gas on the basis of the capacitance between the pair of electrode members 32, 33, and detects whether there is water in the exhaust system of the engine 100.
