Abstract:
The separation membrane composite (1) comprises a porous support (11) and a separation membrane (12) that is disposed on the support (11). In the separation membrane composite (1), the membrane end region (122) refers to each region in the range that is one-tenth the length of a longitudinal direction of a separation membrane (12) from each edge in the longitudinal direction of the separation membrane (12), and the membrane central region (123) refers to the part of the separation membrane (12) other than the membrane end regions (122) at the two sides in the longitudinal direction. The average permeation velocity of CF4 gas at one membrane end region (122) is at least 5-times, but not more than 100-times, the average permeation velocity of CF4 gas at the membrane central region (123). The separation performance of the separation membrane composite (1) can be improved by these features.
