Abstract:
This separator (13) for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises: a base material (30) that is made of a polyolefin porous film; and a functional layer (32) that is formed on the base material (30), said functional layer having a heat-resistant layer (34) that includes inorganic particles, the separator being characterized in having a shutdown temperature that is 138°C or higher, and a specific heat capacity that is 15 J/K⋅cm2 or more.
