Abstract:
A separator for nonaqueous secondary batteries, which is provided with a porous substrate having a thickness of from 4.0 μm to 9.0 μm and an adhesive porous layer that is provided on one surface or both surfaces of the porous substrate and contains an adhesive resin and a thermally conductive inorganic filler having a thermal conductivity of from 30 W/m·K to 250 W/m·K, and wherein: the total content of the thermally conductive inorganic filler in the adhesive porous layers on both surfaces of the porous substrate is from 45% by volume to 75% by volume relative to the total amount of the adhesive resin and the thermally conductive inorganic filler; and the total thickness of the adhesive porous layers on both surfaces of the porous substrate is from 0.5 μm to 2.9 μm.
