Abstract:
The present invention relates to a separator for a rechargeable lithium battery and a rechargeable lithium battery including same. Specifically, provided in one embodiment is a separator for a rechargeable lithium battery, the separator comprising: a substrate; and a coating layer located on one or both surfaces of the substrate and comprising a metal organic framework (MOF) which is ZIF-8, Fe-BTC or a combination thereof.
