Abstract:

A transfer device is provided with a determining means for, upon receiving a data packet including content and list information as a response to a transferred request packet, determining whether the content can be transmitted to a transfer device, which is a transmitting source of the request packet, on the basis of the identifier of the transfer device, which is the transmitting source, and the list information, wherein the list information included in the data packet is produced on the basis of the identifier of a transfer device that can be set as a transmitting destination of the content included in the data packet or on the basis of the identifier of a transfer device that cannot be set as a transmitting destination of the content included in the data packet among a plurality of transfer devices in a content distribution system.
