Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of communications. Disclosed are a service availability management method and apparatus, and a network function virtualization infrastructure thereof, capable of solving the problem of bad service availability experience caused by large difference between a service availability grade actually provided by resources allocated by services in corresponding types and a service availability grade required by an operator. The specific solution comprises: acquiring a service availability grade of a service to be deployed; determining, according to the service availability grade of the service to be deployed and based on an availability policy base, availability-related parameter information about a resource corresponding to the service availability grade of the service to be deployed; and allocating and configuring, according to the availability-related parameter information about the resource corresponding to the service availability grade of the service to be deployed and based on a resource information base, a corresponding resource for the service to be deployed, the resource comprising at least one of the following: an infrastructure resource, a non-HA software resource, and an HA software resource. The present invention is applied to a management process of service availability.
