Abstract:
A service disabling attack protecting system includes a monitor (5) disposed in a LAN (2) for monitoring a packet transmitted through an ISP network (4) to at least one communication device (3) connected to the LAN (2), and a limiter (6) disposed in the ISP network (4) for limiting the packet directed to the LAN (2). The monitor (5) detects an attack with the packet on the communication device (3), and transmits protection demand information expressing a demand for the protection against the attack detected. On the basis of the protection demand information, the limiter (6) limits the packet to be transmitted to the communication device (3) through the ISP network (4).
