Abstract:
Provided is an airborne type of communication relay device having a reduced size and capable of suppressing the movement of cell footprint. The communication relay device is provided with: an array antenna that has a plurality of antenna elements for forming cells to perform service link wireless communications with terminal devices; an information acquisition unit that acquires information of at least one of the position and attitude of the communication relay device; and a control unit that controls, on the basis of the information of at least one of the position and attitude of the communication relay device, the phases and amplitudes of a plurality of transmission/reception signals, transmitted and received via each of the plurality of antenna elements of the array antenna, such that the position of the cell footprint is fixed.
