Abstract:
A projector provided to this sewing machine projects a projection image representing an actual-size circular stitch pattern toward a bed section, thereby making it possible for the user to accurately ascertain the shape, size, etc. of the circular stitch pattern which will actually be sewn. This sewing machine is capable of having a circular stitching device mounted thereon and is provided with a projector and a control unit. The control unit executes: a size specification process for specifying the size of a circular stitch pattern; a pattern specification process for specifying a unit pattern constituting the circular stitch pattern; a projection image generation process for generating a projection image representing at least a portion of the circular stitch pattern which has the size specified by the size specification process and in which the unit pattern is arranged continuously in a circle; and a projection control process which causes the projector to project the projection image.
