Abstract:
A shake-proof telescope having an enlarged range of variation in magnification
without an increase in its size. The shake-proof telescope has an objective
lens (10) including a spatially fixed first lens group (11) and a movable shake-proof
second lens group (12), an ocular lens mounting section (33) on which ocular lenses
(30, 35) for observing an image of a target observation object formed by the objective
lens are interchangeably mounted, a shake-proof-lens drive section (50) for
moving the second lens group (12) of the objective lens (10), an ocular lens detection
section (40) for detecting focal length information on an ocular lens mounted
on the ocular lens mounting section (33), and a control section (80) for controlling
the shake-proof-lens drive section (50) based on the result of the detection
by the ocular lens detection section.
