Abstract:

A laminated polybutylene terephthalate film having an excellent shape memory and high dimensional stability under heat, which is obtained by (1) bonding a polybutylene terephthalate film to another film or a laminated film and forming the obtained laminate at a temperature (T₁) not higher than the glass transition temperature of the polybutylene terephthalate while keeping it in the first shape, (2) forming the obtained shaped laminate into the second shape at a temperature (T₂) exceeding the above glass transition temperature, and (3) cooling the obtained shaped laminate to a temperature (T₃) not higher than the above glass transition temperature.
