Abstract:

A shaving machine of automatic cutter replacing type, wherein a main spindle (2) of a cutter head (1) supported movably upward and downward by a column (34) has a part for mounting a cutter (3) having a mechanism to mount and dismount a cutter along the axis of said main spindle at an end of said main spindle and a carriage (20) which moves toward and away from said part for mounting a cutter carries out mounting and dismounting of a cutter for said part for mounting a cutter through its reciprocating motion.
