Abstract:
A shift range control device (40) that: is installed in a vehicle; controls the driving of a motor (10) and thereby switches shift range; and comprises a feedback control unit (60), a feedback value setting unit (63), current sensors (81, 82), and a current correction unit (84). The feedback control unit (60) performs feedback control that is based on the actual angle of the motor (10) and on a motor speed that is the rotational speed of the motor (10). The feedback value setting unit (63) sets a feedback value for the motor speed on the basis of the motor speed such that the phase of the motor speed advances. The current sensors (81, 82) can detect a motor current that is the current flowing through the motor (10). The current correction unit (84) estimates the temperature of the motor (10) on the basis of the motor current and corrects a target motor speed that is a target speed for the motor (10) that is decided on the basis of requested shift range.
