Abstract:
A shifting device (10) that is for shifting the gears of a transmission and that has shift rods (R1-R5), a third shift arm (17) that is affixed to shift rod (R4), and a bolt (30) that fixes the third shift arm (17) to shift rod (R4). The third shift arm (17) has a mounting hole (17b) into which the bolt (30) is screwed and mounted. A snap ring (40) that restricts the outward movement of the bolt (30) is fitted into the mounting hole (17b) in a position that is further to the axial-direction outside than any part of the mounted bolt (30).
