Abstract:
A ship is provided with: a gas engine; a tank for storing liquefied natural gas; a supply line that is provided with a compressor and that guides boil-off gas generated within the tank to the gas engine as fuel gas; a return line that branches from the supply line downstream from the compressor and connects with the tank, said return line being provided with an expansion device; a return valve that is provided to a part of the return line upstream from the expansion device and that has a changeable opening degree; a heat exchanger that performs heat exchange between a heat medium and boil-off gas flowing between the return valve and the expansion device in the return line; a pressure gauge that detects the pressure of boil-off gas flowing between the return valve and the expansion device in the return line; and a control device that controls the return valve so that the pressure of the boil-off gas detected by the pressure gauge reaches a set pressure.
