Abstract:

The present invention addresses the problem of providing a technology for steering a ship with the feel of an on-land vehicle. A ship (100) is equipped with: an outdrive device (20) which causes a ship body (1) to generate a propulsion force using the motive force from an engine (10); a detection means (5) for detecting the current location of the ship body (1), the ship bow direction thereof, and the movement speed thereof; a brake pedal (42) for restricting the movement speed of the ship body (1); a brake sensor (54) for detecting the amount which the brake pedal (42) is depressed; and a ship-steering control device (30) that is connected to the outdrive device (20), the detection means (5) and the brake sensor (54), acquires the drive state of the outdrive device (20) and acquires the detection results from the detection means (5) and the brake sensor (54), and controls the outdrive device (20) on the basis of the detection results. Therein, the ship-steering control device (30) changes the output of the outdrive device (20) according to the amount which the brake pedal (42) is depressed, which is detected by the brake sensor (54).
