Abstract:
A shoe press belt is configured by embedding a reinforcing base material in polyurethane to integrate the polyurethane and the reinforcing base material. The polyurethane that constitutes at least the outer circumferential surface of the shoe press belt comprises an aliphatic polycarbonate diol component and an aromatic diisocyanate component as urethane prepolymer components and comprises an aliphatic diol component of no more than six carbons and an aromatic diol component with two hydroxyethoxy groups as curing agent components. The content of the aromatic diol component with respect to the aliphatic diol component and aromatic diol component is 10 mass% to 50 mass%. Thereby, a shoe press belt is provided in which the occurrence and progression of cracks is limited.
