Abstract:
A shredding device comprising a pair of shredding members disposed in parallel with each other and in a symmetrical fashion relative to a frame, tiltably supported substantially at the central portion thereof and each having a shredding portion at one end thereof so as to confront each other and a hydraulic cylinder for connecting the pair of shredding members at the other end thereof, wherein a fitted member is provided so as to move vertically relative to the frame, wherein the hydraulic cylinder is supported relative to the fitted member in such a manner as to be moved longitudinally of a cylinder tube, and wherein buffer means are interposed between the fitted member and positions at the sides of the hydraulic cylinder, respectively, so as to elastically hold the hydraulic cylinder relative to the fitted member, whereby an external force acting onto the shredding members is buffered so as to eliminate every factor affecting the hydraulic cylinder and the frame.
