Abstract:
A side airbag device (SA) is provided with: an inflator (22) which injects gas into an airbag (21); a case (10) which has a mounting wall (bottom wall (13)) to which the inflator (22) is mounted; an inflator affixation member (affixation plate (30)) which is mounted to the inflator (22) by mounting members (male thread section (24B), nut (N)) while the mounting wall is sandwiched between the inflator affixation member and the inflator (22); a surface skin material (42) which covers the case (10); a restriction member (reinforcement cloth (51)) which is affixed around the sewn section (42A) of the surface skin material (42) and which restricts the direction of expansion of the airbag (21); and an engagement section (52) which is provided at an end of the restriction member and which engages with the case (10). The engagement section (52) is positioned at the case (10) and is restricted to move.
