Abstract:
The present invention suppresses the decline of the signal strength of a higher harmonic component included in the output of a ΔΣ modulator. To this end, a signal processing device is equipped with: a ΔΣ modulator (11) for outputting a pulse signal; a first processing unit (12) for generating a discontinuous pulse signal (PC) in which the rear end and/or front end of each pulse interval of the pulse signal (PO) outputted by the ΔΣ modulator (11) are/is set to a low-level region; and a second processing unit for generating a short-width pulse signal (PS) which has a shorter pulse width than that of the discontinuous pulse signal (PC) generated by the first processing unit (12).
