Abstract:
This signal processing device (1) processes data of a detected ultrasonic waveform that represents temporal changes of the intensity of ultrasonic waves (U) generated at a measurement position in a specimen (S) and includes: a comparison unit (12) that compares a predetermined reference ultrasonic waveform and the detected ultrasonic waveform at the measurement position and calculates a similarity between the predetermined reference ultrasonic waveform and the detected ultrasonic waveform; and a distinguishing unit (13) that determines whether the measurement position is a predetermined subject to be observed on the basis of the similarity.
