Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide a signal processing method and a related device. The number of modulation symbols involved in ISI estimation gradually decreases as the number of iterations increases, thereby reducing the number of computing resources. The method in the embodiments of the present application comprises: a receiver obtains a signal to be processed, wherein the signal to be processed is a signal obtained after an original signal is transmitted over a channel; then, the receiver performs ISI estimation on a modulation symbol set of the signal to be processed to obtain first soft information, wherein the modulation symbol set has a first correspondence to a bit sequence corresponding to the original signal; next, the receiver performs FEC check according to the first soft information to obtain second soft information; then, the receiver selects a first modulation symbol from the modulation symbol set according to the second soft information and the first correspondence, wherein soft information corresponding to the first modulation symbol in the second soft information is less than or equal to a first threshold; then, the receiver performs ISI estimation on the first modulation symbol according to the second soft information to obtain third soft information.
