Title:
SIGNAL SHAPING DEVICE, SHAPING TERMINATION DEVICE, SIGNAL SHAPING METHOD, AND OPTICAL TRANSMISSION METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/167920
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A signal shaping device (100) is characterized by comprising: a generation unit (121) that performs a plurality of types of preset processes on blocks in which bit strings of a plurality of systems are cut into preset lengths, and generates a plurality of candidate blocks that are candidates for shaping blocks to be transmitted; a calculation unit (122) that calculates, in candidate block units, the weight of a one-dimensional modulation symbol when a plurality of bits included in a candidate block are converted into the one-dimensional modulation symbol; a selection unit (123) that selects a shaping block from a plurality of candidate blocks on the basis of the weight; an addition unit (124) that adds selection information indicating the selection result to the shaping block; and a symbol mapping unit (130) that converts the plurality of bits included in the shaping block into the one-dimensional modulation symbol and generates a one-dimensional modulation signal.
