Abstract:
This siloxane compound is represented by formula (1). In the formula, each X is independently X1 or X2. In X1 and X2, each R1, R2, R3, R4, and R6 is independently a hydrogen atom, a C1-8 alkyl group, or a C6-12 aryl group, and the hydrogen atoms of these hydrocarbon groups can be substituted by fluorine atoms. Each R5 is independently an organic group containing one or more substitution groups selected from formulas (1-1) through (1-4). Each m and n is independently an integer between 1 and 4. In the formulas, R7 is an organic group containing a hydroxyl, alkoxy, ester, or trialkylsilyl group, and each R8 and R9 is independently an organic group containing a hydroxyl, alkoxy, ester, or trimethylsilyl group. The siloxane compound, as a curable composition, can be molded so that no bubbles remain, and can be used to obtain a cured body having sufficient heat resistance.
