Abstract:
A single-use endoscope device that addresses both cost issues and image quality issues. Provided is a single-use endoscope device that is to be inserted into a subject. The single-use endoscope device comprises: a tip end part that includes at least an imaging element; an operation part that controls the operations of the endoscope device; a curving part that can be made to curve inside the subject by the operation part; a flexible part that extends from the operation part to the curving part; a connector part that has a connector that is connected to a control device for an endoscope system; and a connector cable part that extends from the operation part to the connector part. After the tip end part, the curving part, and the flexible part have been inserted into the subject and the endoscope device has been used, the operation part, the curving part, the flexible part, the connector part, and the connector cable part are discarded, but the tip end part or the imaging element, etc. included in the tip end part can be reused (see fig. 2).
