Abstract:

This sintered body is a sintered body including a first material and a second material, wherein the first material is a partially stabilized ZrO2 in which Al2O3 of 1-90 volume % is dispersed in a grain boundary or in a grain crystal, the Al2O3 is a particle having a particle diameter of 1 µm or less, the second material is at least one type of compound selected from the group consisting of a carbide, a nitride, and a carbonitride and is contained in the sintered body at 5-95 volume %.
