Abstract:
Provided is at least one of a sintered body having both high dynamic and static strength, a method for manufacturing this sintered body, a powder, and a pre-sintered body. A sintered body of zirconia has a stabilizing element, which contains at least one rare earth element other than yttrium, the average crystal grain diameter being 0.05-0.75 µm, and having a region which undergoes plastic deformation.
