Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a skin-masking material for adhesion to the skin in order to conceal a region of the skin, when the region has what is considered to be an abnormal appearance, wherein the skin-masking material has good cosmetic coverage when a cosmetic is further applied over the surface of the skin-masking material when adhered to the skin. [Solution] The skin-masking material includes a contact adhesive layer laminated to one surface of a film layer having stretch properties, and where the average particle diameter of a powder contained in a cosmetic applied to the other surface of the film layer is denoted by d, and the thickness of the film layer is denoted by w, the Rz of the other surface satisfies the relationships d ≦ Rz ≦ 60d and Rz ≦ w. Because the Rz of the other surface is equal to or greater than the average particle diameter d, the majority of the powder of the cosmetic enters the asperities formed on the other surface, and is retained within the asperities.
