Abstract:
An objective of the present invention is to provide a skin material that is easy to apply to a base material, an interior material provided with the skin material, and a method of manufacturing the interior material. A skin material 10 includes a base cloth layer 11 and a design layer 12. The base cloth layer 11 includes an outer material 11A, a lining material 11B, and binding yarns 11C that hold the outer material 11A and the lining material 11B together. The binding yarns 11C are erected between the outer material 11A and the lining material 11B to form a gap 13 inside the base cloth layer 11. Embossed patterns 14 are formed as recesses into the skin material 10 from the design layer 12 side, and a thin part 15 is formed in the shape of a strip at the edges of the skin material 10. The skin material 10 is applied to a base material to obtain an interior material.
