Abstract:
Provided are: a slide bearing that has excellent slurry-wear resistance performance during operation in water (slurry) containing foreign matter such as earth and sand; and a pump comprising a slide bearing device. This slide bearing is formed of a resin composition containing an aromatic polyether ketone, a polybenzoimidazole, boron nitride, carbon fibers, graphite, and incidental impurities. With respect to the resin composition, the percentage content of the polybenzoimidazole is at most 10 mass% (including 0 mass%), the percentage content of the graphite is at most 5 mass% (including 0 mass%), and the total percentage content of the boron nitride, the carbon fibers, and the graphite is at most 40 mass%.
