A slide mechanism to send single pipe forward for forming scaffolding on structures comprises: a first plate member that is fixed to a vertical single pipe provided so as to extend in the vertical direction on scaffolding, in a state in which the main face of the plate is along the vertical single pipe; a first fixing member that fixes the first plate member at an arbitrary rotational position in the circumferential direction of the vertical pipe; a second plate member that is fixed to and in parallel with the outside main face of the first plate member; a second fixing member that fixes the second plate member to the first plate member at an arbitrary rotational position that serves as a central axis of the main face of the first plate member in the vertical direction; a slide support pipe that is a single pipe fixed to the second plate member and that is fixed so as to be along the outside main face of the second plate member; a slide pipe that is a single pipe having a diameter smaller than the slide support pipe and that is inserted into and slides within the slide support pipe; and a first hanging member to hang a new single pipe for forming scaffolding from the slide pipe.
