Abstract:
A sliding component (10) provided with a wear-resistant coating comprises: a sliding component (12); and a wear-resistant coating (14) provided on a sliding surface (12a) of the sliding component (12) and formed of a cobalt alloy that contains chromium and silicon, wherein, in the wear-resistant coating, an oxide containing chromium and silicon is included, and oxide particles (16), having a particle size of 100 µm or less when a cross-section of the wear-resistant coating (14) is observed using an optical microscope at a magnification of 100 times, are dispersed.
