Abstract:
A slit-lamp microscope configured so as to prevent complicating the external appearance of cable wiring while making it easier to maintain an illumination power cable. A channel-form cable protection section 6f is provided to an illumination support arm 6 of a slit-lamp microscope 1 in a state in which an illumination power cable 13 is exposed to the outside, said cable protection section being placed along the outer surface of the illumination support arm 6. According to this configuration, the illumination power cable 13 can be easily replaced, even if the illumination power cable 13 gets disconnected or subjected to another adverse event, which makes it possible to maintaining the cable more easily. In addition, since the illumination power cable 13 is wired along the channel-form cable protection section 6f, a slit-lamp microscope 1 designed to yield a well-organized external appearance can be obtained.
