Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a slurry composition which is useful for forming a porous membrane for a secondary battery and which enables the production of a secondary battery combining excellent cycle characteristics and excellent rate characteristics. A slurry composition for a porous membrane for a secondary battery, comprising: non-conducting particles; a particulate polymer that contains 0.1 to 10wt% of carboxylic acid primary amide monomer units; a compound that has, per molecule, three or more functional groups capable of capturing a heavy metal and that exhibits an SP value of 12 to 15 (cal/cm3)1/2; and water.
