A smart air discharge hand dryer, comprising: a head part (1), a back plate (2), a tail part (3), a microprocessor (4), a motor (5) and a laser detector (12). The outer profile of two hands is recognized by means of the laser detector (12), finger seam positions of the two hands are determined, and profile information is conveyed to the microprocessor (4); according to the profile information, the microprocessor (4) determines air channels adjacent to the finger seam positions to be reinforced air channels, and a solenoid valve corresponding to each reinforced air channel is controlled to open to a relatively large opening degree, while solenoid valves corresponding to the remaining air channels are opened to a relatively small opening degree. The two hands are dried under the joint action of upper and lower air channels, the wind force and amount are intensified at the finger seams, and the wind force and amount are relatively lessened at the palms. Everywhere on the hand, including the fingers seams, is dried quickly such that places that would be blocked are eliminated, and drying is more thorough.
