Abstract:
A valve body failure detection method of an air conditioning system (100) and the air conditioning system (100). The air conditioning system (100) comprises at least two outdoor units (10), and the outdoor units (10) comprise heat exchangers (12), and throttling valves (14) connected to the heat exchangers (12). The detection method comprises: when the superheat degree of a compressor of the operated outdoor unit (10) is less than a first threshold, obtaining a coiler temperature of the heat exchanger (12) of the unoperated outdoor unit (10); determining whether a difference absolute value between the coiler temperature and an outdoor environment temperature is greater than a second threshold; and if the difference absolute value between the coiler temperature and the outdoor environment temperature is greater than the second threshold, determining the failure of the throttling valve (14) of the unoperated outdoor unit (10).
