Abstract:
The present invention relates to a smart electronic heating machine which guarantees safe operation, and an operation method therefor. The operation method for a smart electronic heating machine, according to one embodiment of the present invention, is an operation method for a smart electronic heating machine, performed by a processor of the smart electronic heating machine, and may comprise the steps of: supplying, according to detection of a contact of a heating switch provided on a smart electronic heating machine, electric power to a heater for heating a cooking container placed on an upper plate of the smart electronic heating machine; collecting, from a plurality of first sensors provided below the upper plate, a result of detecting the amount of light passing through the upper plate, as electric power is supplied to the heater; and determining whether to supply electric power to the heater by determining whether liquid contained in the cooking container has overflowed, on the basis of the light amount detection result.
