Abstract:
A smart entry system that releases a lock applied to an opening/closing body, comprising: a transmission unit (110) that sends call signals to a mobile key (100B) by using wireless communications; a reception unit (120) that receives response signals from the mobile key (100B) responding to the call signal; and a control unit (130) that outputs call signal transmission commands to the transmission unit (110), verifies response signals when the reception unit (120) receives response signals, and outputs commands for unlocking the opening/closing body on the basis of the verification results. The call signals are configured so as to be transmitted using the polling method. An output strength setting unit (132) that changes and sets the output strength of call signals is provided in the control unit (130).
