Abstract:
This smart key system is provided with: a plurality of portable devices (102A to 102D) each having unique identification information (IDA to IDD) assigned thereto; and a control unit (130) which is provided on an open/close body (11), performs an inquiry to the plurality of portable devices (102A to 102D) by means of radio-wave transmission, and opens or closes the open/close body (11) when collation of identification information responded from any of the portable devices (102A to 102D) is successful. In advance of the collation of identification information (IDA to IDD), the control unit (130) performs simple collation for confirming presence/absence of the plurality of portable devices (102A to 102D) in a response area, and then performs formal collation of identification information for portable devices which have been confirmed to be present, among the plurality of portable devices (102A to 102D).
