Abstract:
An information providing apparatus installed in a vehicle, in which condition information including surrounding conditions that represent the conditions of the surroundings of a vehicle is repeatedly acquired (S110, S120, S150, S180, S190, S250, S280). On the basis of the acquired condition information, a light emitter and a display device are controlled so that light is emitted in a light-emitting mode corresponding to the acquired surrounding conditions (S130, S140, S160, S170, S200, S210, S230, S240, S260, S270, S290, S300). During this light emission control, if the acquired surrounding conditions satisfy a stipulated requirement that has been stipulated in advance, a control is performed so that light is emitted in a transition light-emitting mode in which the emission of light is transitioned from the light emitter to the display device.
