Abstract:
The socket is one to which first and second straight tube LED lamps are connected. The first and second straight tube LED lamps are provided with: a main body of elongated shape having a first end and a second end, and retaining a light-emitting diode array; a first ferrule disposed at the first end of the main body, and having two power supply terminals respectively electrically connected to both ends of the light-emitting diode array; and a second ferrule disposed at the second end of the main body. The socket has first and second power supply contact parts for conduction through respective contact with the two power supply terminals of the first straight tube LED lamp, and is provided with a first contact part into which the first ferrule of the first straight tube LED lamp is detachably installed, and a second contact part into which the second ferrule of the second straight tube LED lamp is detachably installed. The direction of projection of the first contact part of the first straight tube LED lamp installed in the first contact part, and the direction of projection of the second contact part of the second straight tube LED lamp installed in the second contact part, are mutually parallel.
