Abstract:
A vehicle surroundings image display control device is provided with: a vehicle surroundings image acquisition device (110); an aerial view image creation device (115); a divided-saving device (120) saving in a memory area A (51a), an aerial image A that is farther from a vehicle, and saving in a memory area B (51b), an aerial image B that is closer to the vehicle; a shadow assessment device (125) that assesses whether there is a shadow on the aerial image B; vehicle movement quantity computation devices (135, 155); a first historical image configuration device (140) that if there is not a shadow on the aerial image B, so as to apply a current image, uses the aerial image B to update an out-of-photography-range aerial image C saved in a memory area C (52), and uses the aerial image A to update a historical aerial image B of the same range as the area B (51b); a second historical image configuration device (160) that if there is a shadow on the aerial image B, so as to apply the current image, uses the historical aerial image B to update the aerial image C, and uses the aerial image A to update the historical aerial image B; and display control devices (130, 150) that on an image display device (3), display the aerial images A-C and the historical aerial image B.
