Title:
SOLAR CELL-INTEGRATED HYBRID SYSTEM FOR HIGHLY EFFICIENTLY UTILIZING SUNLIGHT AND METHOD FOR DRIVING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/005643
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a solar cell-integrated hybrid system for highly efficiently utilizing sunlight and a method for driving the same. The energy conversion system has a liquid-state solar energy absorption unit, which includes an ionic liquid, integrally coupled to a solar cell module such that, while minimizing degradation of power generation performance of the solar cell module, solar energy in the infrared area, which is not utilized by conventional solar cells, is absorbed, thereby increasing the solar energy utilization efficiency and preventing the shortening of service life and reduction of conversion efficiency, which occur to conventional solar cells. In addition, the system is coupled to the upper surface of a solar cell module such that available space of the solar cell module is utilized, thereby increasing the space efficiency.
