Abstract:
This solar cell (101) is provided with a photoelectric conversion part (50) that comprises an n-type crystal silicon substrate (1), a p-type silicon-based thin film (31) that is provided on a first main surface, and an n-type silicon-based thin film (32) that is provided on a second main surface. A first electrode layer (61) is provided on the p-type silicon-based thin film (31), and a second electrode layer is provided on the n-type silicon-based thin film (32). A patterned collector electrode (70) is provided on the first electrode layer (61). On the first main surface of the photoelectric conversion part (50), a coming-around part (501) of the second electrode layer, an insulating region (401) where neither the first electrode layer nor the second electrode layer is provided, and the first electrode layer (61) formation region are sequentially existent from the periphery. The first electrode layer (61) is formed by a dry process, while having the peripheral portion of the first main surface of the photoelectric conversion part covered with a mask. The second electrode layer (62) is formed by a dry process on the second main surface of the photoelectric conversion part without using a mask.
